Sparks Marketing brought me on to help design attendees’ navigation for Unity Technologies campus during GDC 2018. This included a variety of physical spaces and surfaces, starting at the main entrance through the basement registration area and up through every one of five floors.
The initial creative started as an extension of Unity’s branding of beautiful color strands. I kicked off some initial layouts in C4D, which were then comped into hallway photos. Several iterations later, we needed to create a cleaner look that didn’t distract from the core branding. The final design was inspired by metro-style infographics, which ended up looking nice and sharp.
