GDC Unity

Role: Art Director, 3D Illustrator

Sparks Marketing brought me on to help design attendees’ navigation for Unity Technologies campus during GDC 2018. This included a variety of physical spaces and surfaces, starting at the main entrance through the basement registration area and up every one of 5 floors.


The initial creative started as an extension of Unity’s branding of beautiful color strands. I kicked off some initial layouts in C4D, which were then comped into hallway photos. Several iterations later, we needed to create a cleaner look that didn’t distract from the core branding. The final design was inspired by metro-style infographics, which ended up looking nice and sharp.
