Apple

Design Director

Establish and maintain design principles including process, development, and execution across all creative needs. Work with cross-functional partners, including Creative, Editorial, Localization, and Strategy, to create content for Apple's YouTube channel. Developed departmental best practices and mentor team members.

Executed visual and motion channel rebrand, engaging collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Scoped the functional design requirements, created design system elements, and actively maintain annual refresh cycles.

Oversee creative and technical photoshoot needs, including visual strategy, brand guidelines considerations, and equipment specs. Partner with external vendors to execute creative direction and align deliverables with strategy needs.

Provides concept development, art direction, visual and motion design for a variety of clients, including Autodesk, Google, Honda, Nvidia, Old Navy, and PayPal.


As a Creative Consultant for George P. Johnson Experience Marketing: Key team member who led experiential design of art installations for Dreamforce 2018, focusing on the Campground sector that spanned 40,000 square feet. Contributed to AR/VR concept development of digital and physical experience.

As a Creative Consultant at LG Electronics: Managed motion systems and integration design for cross-platform products in collaboration with a team of 50+ designers and developers. Prototype and proof of concept development for engineers. Designed preliminary motion specs for 2012 LG WebOS TV platform — 18 million units sold.

04.2014 - 06.2016

Art Director

Collaborated in the development of presentation collateral, provided art direction, and AR/VR concept development in support of brand identity, live events, and digital campaigns utilizing storytelling, design, animation, and video production.

Interfaced with content and business developers to create on-brand experiences. Led the rebrand of a client’s 360 website and annual expo conference collateral, which was adopted throughout the company.

Samsung

Art Director

Oversaw art direction for large-screen, home audio, and IoT user experiences, including project management, for the Research & Development division of Samsung. Led creative for a team of eight comprising designers and engineers.
 

Helped design the following products: The Frame, Family Hub, and Samsung Smart TV’s main interface — 32 million units sold.

Produced, directed, and oversaw VFX development for concept video shoots. Purchased required software, video, and lighting gear for internal studio needs.

Xbox

Art Director

Oversaw motion design for the Xbox brand and partners, managing relationships between 10 designers, engineers, and QA. Oversaw art direction for the media room, console, and tablet markets, including the shipping of the 2012 holiday release of Hulu and YouTube modules — 1.4 million units sold.

Associate Creative Director

Oversaw a team of 15 artists, producers, and interns, leading team building and the management of creative workflows. Led concept development for project launches and client presentations, working cross-functionally across the content, sales, and marketing teams. Led visual effects oversight for practical and green screen photo shoots.
